KeyCorp has relocated its KeyBank headquarters for the Hudson Valley/Metro New York district from West Nyack to 660 White Plains Road in Tarrytown.
A KeyBank spokeswoman said the bank has leased about 9,000 square feet of space on the second floor of the building in Tarrytown Corporate Center, where it formerly occupied a fifth-floor office of about 3,000 square feet.
The company said the move brings 43 KeyBank executives and administrative staff to Westchester County, led by Ruth Mahoney, president of the Hudson Valley/Metro New York district
The new headquarters will house a state-of-the-art meeting center for district employees.
“KeyBank”™s recent growth in the Hudson Valley created the need for a centralized location that could house our expanding leadership and administrative team,” Mahoney said in a press release. “Our new space has the visibility, accessibility and convenience that will help us maintain a high profile and highlight Key”™s commitment to growth in this region.”
KeyBank”™s West Nyack executive office at 1 Crosfield Ave. will continue to serve the Rockland County area of the bank”™s sprawling district. Most of KeyBank’s 400Â employees in the eight-county district work at in the bank”™s 52 branches.
Mahoney said KeyBank will hold a ribbon cutting and open house April 19 at the new headquarters.
KeyBank”™s parent company, KeyCorp, is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, and has approximately $89 billion in assets.
So many banks are relocating both headquarters and branches further south…..does not bode well for Hudson Valley region!
