Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty (BHG), which promotes itself as the top real estate brokerage in Greater Hudson Valley, will merge with the White Plains based Paddington Stone Realty.
The family-owned and operated real estate brokerage announced the merger with Paddington this week. Rand operates more than 20 real estate offices throughout the Greater Hudson Valley, Westchester and northern New Jersey. It also has an office in White Plains with more than 65 agents.
Paddington Stone has sustained a solid reputation in Westchester, and claims to have a talent for developing new agents and innovative approaches on the rental side of the industry, said Matt Rand, managing partner, BHG Rand Realty.
BHG Rand Realty wants to combine the resources and personnel of both offices in an effort to expand services it offers in real estate as well as its client base in White Plains and the surrounding areas. The merger with Paddington Stone Realty will give BHG Rand Realty reach more than 850 agents.
BHG Rand Realty, founded in 1984, already has more than 25 offices serving Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Putnam and Dutchess counties in New York and Bergen and Passaic counties in New Jersey.
