New York Life, one the largest life insurance company in the United States, announced the promotions of Cortlandt Manor resident Richard Simonetti and John O”™Gara to senior vice president positions New York Life”™s agency department.
Simonetti is now in charge of agent and manager recruitment, training and development. This includes New York Life”™s field force and sales within the company”™s key markets such as women, cultural markets, the LGBT community and young professionals.
O”™Gara, a resident of New Fairfield, Conn., is responsible for the company”™s wholesaling operations for all product lines within the agency distribution channel, including life insurance, annuities, investments and long-term care insurance. Â Additionally, O’Gara oversees New York Life”™s advanced planning group,a team comprised of a team of experienced attorneys, certified public accountants and other professionals.
Both men report to Executive Vice President and Head of Agency Mark Pfaff.
