If you saw the hundreds of tents lined up outside the plant last weekend, driving by on the Merritt Parkway, you may have thought: “That”™s one motivated workforce.”

Many Sikorsky employees earned their own wolf badges and quest awards ”“ a few even making Eagle Scout ”“ and continue to volunteer for area scouting organizations. And astoundingly, two former scouts who attended the camp as kids work for Sikorsky today.
“My daughter Grace ”“ whose dream is to be a pilot and eventually an astronaut ”“ had a chance ”¦ to interact with excellent role models,” said Susan Poe of Groton. “Sikorsky staff took the time to provide her with thoughtful career advice and encouragement.”
