Westchester County”™s Stark Business Solutions now has presence in New York City.
It has acquired two floors of Lincoln Suites Inc. at One Grand Central Place, 60 E. 42nd St.
The space occupies 25,000 square feet on the 46th floor and 47th floor of the former Lincoln Building, which contains in-building access to Grand Central Terminal.
“It was a very good fit for our business,” said Adam Stark, president of Stark Business Solutions. “The company catered to high-end professionals and that type of client base fit in good with our current client base. It was very synergistic with our locations in Westchester.”
To bring the office suites up to par with existing Westchester County office suites, Stark said renovations of fiber-optic and telephone systems are under way.
The 55-floor office tower as a whole recently underwent an $85 million renovation.
Of the new offices, Stark said “a lot of clients in Westchester wanted a New York City phone number as well as space in New York.”
The Lincoln Suites are “a good takeoff point” both for Westchester and Manhattan clients, he said.
Stark said the company wants to continue to grow at a measured pace and that expansions into Fairfield County are “definitely something that”™s on our radar screen.”
The company saw a 25 percent growth increase in revenue in 2009 and Stark predicts 2010 to be even greater “given the acquisition of the business.”
Stark opened Stark Business Solutions in 2004 and maintains offices in: White Plains, Scarsdale, Mount Kisco and Harrison for a total of 58,000 square feet.
Pricing is broken down based on two service categories: full-time office and virtual.
Stark said that the New York City offices will be the most expensive location, but did not have specifics because of variables in service offerings.
