Sikorsky gets $98 million for helicopters

The Pentagon approved a $73 million contract for the government of Brazil to buy six Black Hawk helicopters from Sikorsky Aircraft Corp.

The Brazilian Air Force choppers will be built at Sikorsky”™s Stratford headquarters.

Separately, the U.S. Navy ordered two Knighthawk naval helicopters for $25 million, with the work also to be performed in Stratford.
