Better Homes & Gardens Rand Realty sealed a deal with Coldwell Banker Currier & Lazier Real Estate and purchased its three Dutchess County offices, offering entry to a market Rand was seeking.
Rand bought C&L”™s offices in LaGrange, Fishkill and Rhinebeck, acquiring its agents along with the offices. The purchase now gives BHG Rand Realty 22 offices in the Hudson Valley region and more than 400 full and part time salespeople.
“Expanding into Dutchess County was a logical move for Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty. It completes our footprint and allows us to service the entire Hudson Valley marketplace,” said Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty managing partner Greg Rand in a prepared statement. “We are the only company in Dutchess that has offices in Orange and Westchester counties, a unique advantage.”
REALTrends magazine reports Rand is one of the top 100 real estate brokerage firms in the country, closing $1.3 billion in business in 2008.
