Owners of 333 Westchester Ave., the former General Foods headquarters in White Plains, have inked three smaller lease deals that, following Amalgamated Life Insurance”™s move there from Manhattan, brings rental activity at the four-building office complex to more than 140,000 square feet in the last six months.
Charles S. Cohen, CEO and president of Manhattan-based Cohen Brothers Realty Corp., said Endurance Reinsurance Corp. has taken an additional 5,300 square feet, bringing its total footage at the 39-acre campus to more than 45,000 square feet. Tenants renewing leases at 333 Westchester were Total Renal Care Inc., represented by Paul Ferraro of USI Real Estate Brokerage, and Epilepsy Neurophysiology Medical Consulting. Fran Delgorio, senior vice president of leasing and marketing for Cohen Bros., represented the landlord in all three transactions.
Amalgamated Life Insurance, a division of Alico Services Corp., last month began relocating about 450 employees from its long-time Greenwich Village headquarters to a 132,000-square-foot space at 333 Westchester. The 65-year-old company will occupy about 80 percent of the North Building.
