Sun Products sets up HQ
Sun Products Corp. is establishing its permanent headquarters at 60 Danbury Road in Wilton, taking nearly 60,000 square feet of space in one of the newest commercial office developments in Fairfield County.
Unilever AG spun off its laundry detergent business earlier this year as Sun Products, including the All, Snuggle and Wisk brands. The company is led by Neil DeFeo, the former CEO of Playtex Products Inc.
Jones grows through buy
Chicago-based Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. bolstered its Stamford office by acquiring Albert B. Ashforth Inc., the commercial real estate brokerage unit of The Ashforth Co.
The companies did not immediately disclose the transaction details. Earlier this year, JLL spent $223 million to acquire Staubach Holdings Inc., which specializes in representing large corporate tenants in site selection and lease negotiations.
Stamford-based Ashforth Co. retains its property management operations.
