Business seminars set

Continuing a statewide tour to educate business owners on state assistance programs, the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community development has scheduled seminars this month in Shelton and Danbury.

The DECD meetings are scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon on March 18 at 900 Bridgeport Ave. in Shelton; and on March 31 at the Ancell School of Business at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury.

Through February, about 160 people attended five seminars across the state, which provide access to representatives from DECD, Connecticut Innovations, the Connecticut Development Authority, the ConnSTEP manufacturing program, and other agencies.
