EAST WINDSOR – Infoshred has acquired Brookfield-based Secure Eco Shred for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition will increase Infoshred’s existing footprint in Connecticut and New York and will be headquartered at the Infoshred facility in East Windsor.
Secure Eco Shred is a document shredding and hard drive destruction service company with headquarters at 5 Del Mar Drive in Brookfield. Mike Smith, who founded Secure Eco Shred along with his wife, Elaine, in 2004, will aid in the transition.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Secure Eco Shred customers to the Infoshred family,” said Infoshred President and Founder Stacey Lombardo. “Both Infoshred and Secure Eco Shred were built on the same foundation: treating our customers like partners and protecting the confidential information that matters most to them.”
Infoshred provides secure destruction and storage of valuable business information. The company provides total life cycle management, from storage to destruction, for paper documents, electronics, and faulty, outdated, or recalled products.
