Sacred Heart Greenwich has partnered with MilkMate, becoming the first independent school in the nation to install its innovative breast-pumping solution on campus. This partnership provides faculty with a dedicated, fully equipped space for pumping, making the experience more convenient and supportive. By removing the challenges of transporting equipment and finding appropriate spaces, Sacred Heart Greenwich demonstrates its commitment to creating an environment where faculty feel valued and supported in balancing their professional responsibilities with personal needs.
This partnership highlights Sacred Heart Greenwich’s commitment to inclusivity, support for women and fostering experiential learning opportunities that empower the next generation of leaders.
“Sacred Heart Greenwich is deeply committed to ensuring that women are supported with the tools and resources they need to thrive,” said Maureen Patrillo, director of human resources, Sacred Heart Greenwich. “Through our partnership with MilkMate, we provide a vital service to our faculty and educate and empower our students. This initiative highlights the importance of women’s issues and the significance of creating supportive environments. It also offers our students valuable exposure to entrepreneurship, teaching them how innovation can lead to meaningful change in both professional and personal spaces.”
MilkMate’s solution and the school’s commitment to supporting women in the workplace, was written, directed and edited by students. This creative project has provided students with valuable hands-on experience and further inspired them as they embraced leadership roles in storytelling and media production.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Sacred Heart Greenwich to support faculty members and empower our next generation of leaders. Sacred Heart is setting a new standard for educational institutes and their commitment to creating truly inclusive environments for faculty and students is inspiring. Their dedication to advancing the next generation of women leaders, by practicing what they preach, sets a powerful example for all,” said Patrice Meagher, founder and CEO of MilkMate and Sacred Heart Greenwich Parent.
