On June 29, it was discovered that an unknown individual attached a skimming device to one single terminal in each of Big Y’s Naugatuck and Plainville, Connecticut, locations. After actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident Big Y officials notified and worked with law enforcement. All of its terminals have been and will continue to be inspected. If any customers’ information was compromised, Big Y will promptly notify them and provide them with additional information so that they can take steps to protect themselves.
