Connecticut Breast Imaging has announced the opening of its newest facility, on Sunday, June 9, in New Canaan.
The event – from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 23 Vitti St., Suite 100 – is more than chance to see the new space and meet physicians and staff. Mammograms will be available by appointment or walk-in, and physicians will discuss the results directly.
With radiologists Gilda Boroumand, M.D. and Jaime Szarmach, M.D., Connecticut Breast Imaging seeks to provide a comprehensive range of services, including mammography, breast ultrasound and breast biopsies. The facility is equipped with the latest technology and staffed by professionals committed to delivering rapid yet thorough results, within 24 to 48 hours, and compassionate care.
With the new center, the practice also expands its reach into neighboring communities, including Greenwich, Norwalk, Rowayton, Stamford, Westport, Bedford, Katonah and Pound Ridge.
Said Szarmach: “We are thrilled to establish our presence in this newly constructed medical building, which will provide patients with a convenient location and easy access….”
Connecticut Breast Imaging has also pledged to donate $25 to the Greenwich-based Breast Cancer Alliance for each of the first 100 guests over the age of 18 who attend the opening. The Breast Cancer Alliance funds early-stage research, fellowships, education and support for breast cancer sufferers.
