Moli restaurant and Bar Moli in Greenwich have welcomed a new bar director to the team, Julio Enriquez. New cocktail and mocktail menus launched Wednesday, May 8, featuring one-of-a-kind drinks mixed with a twist on the classics. Similar-style drink menus can be found at sister restaurants Miku Sushi and Hinoki on Greenwich Avenue.
The change is part of the effort by K Dong and chef Steven Che, to consolidate their restaurant group. Their portfolio of restaurants includes Kumo Sushi Lounge in Scarsdale and Blu Sushi Bar at Blu on the Hudson in Weehawken, New Jersey, in addition to the Greenwich establishments. The team is building three new locations in New York City and will announce more information this summer.
“We are so excited about expanding Julio’s menus to our newest location in Greenwich,” said Nian Zhang, general manager of Moli and Bar Moli. “His menus at our sister restaurants, Hinoki and more recently Miku, are truly one-of-a-kind, sophisticated yet fun, and provide our customers with a truly elevated experience. Our team is thrilled to partner with him as we expand into a restaurant group serving the tristate area.”
Enriquez joined the team at Hinoki from Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Tarrytown and refers to himself as a “farmtender” to promote the “farm to glass” ingredients used in many of his drinks. He is also the owner of Feel Good Booch, a small-batch kombucha brand made in Westchester County.
