The City of New Rochelle and the New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce have announced the 59th Annual Thanksgiving Parade will take place on Nov. 18 beginning at 10:00 a.m.
The Parade Day will begin with the New Rochelle Fund’s Annual Pancake Breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the New Rochelle High School House IV Cafeteria, with the meal prepared by teachers and staff from the City School District. The parade will include giant balloons depicting Mighty Mouse, Tom the Turkey and Peppa Pig, and parade participants will come from Iona University, Monroe College and local schools, businesses, and community organizations.
This year’s Parade salutes UFFA Local 273 on their 100th Anniversary. Fire Departments from neighboring communities will join the parade to march with the New Rochelle Fire Department.
Parade organizers are seeking sponsors and volunteers for the events. More details are available at https://newrochellechamber.org/thanksgiving-parade-2023/.
