Walden-based Angry Orchard Hard Cider is releasing a limited-edition XXL-sized bottle encompassing six liters of its prized beverage.
The Angry Orchard Crisp Apple King Size bottle is more than 16 times the size of the standard Crisp Apple bottle. The new product is being offered only in Halloween – the company claims it is “best shared with friends and paired with candy” – and will be available for direct shipping on three drop days – Oct. 2, 9 and 16 – through Angry Orchard VinoShipper at $200 per bottle with free shipping. The product will also be available at the company’s Walden retail shop.
“Halloween and cider go hand-in-hand, but this year, we recommend using two hands to handle this bottle,” said Angry Orchard Cider Maker Joe Gaynor. “Our own version of handing out King size candy bars on Halloween, Crisp Apple King Size takes our OG Crisp Apple and adds some festive Halloween spirit to create our biggest bottle yet.”
