Siponey: This beverage brand was founded by cocktail industry veteran Amanda Victoria and her partner, horticulturist and business operations expert Joey Mintz. So Siponey Spritz Co. is Latina, Afro-Latina and Jewish-owned and commits 2% of revenues annually to global environmental nonprofits dedicated to saving honeybees, one can at a time. (Siponeys ingredients, all from New York state, are wildflower honey, sparkling water, fresh lemon juice and rye whiskey.) The premium canned whiskey cocktail became available at FreshDirect this past spring.

Tucson Tamale: Todd and Sherry Martin, the husband-and-wife team behind Tucson Tamale, have been making award-winning tamales together since 2008. Raised in a loud and large Mexican family, Sherry learned how to cook from her relatives. They have handed down their tamale recipe from one generation to the next.
