Television chef Gordon Ramsay is bringing his unique culinary crankiness to the Hudson Valley.
According to a Times Union report, Ramsay was spotted at Love Bites Cafe on Partition Street in Saugerties. It is unclear what show is being shot in the town ”“ Laurent Rejto, president of the Hudson Valley Film Commission, stated it was a “new show” while several crew members said Ramsay was in the midst of resurrecting “Kitchen Nightmares,” a series that ran from 2007 to 2014. “Gordon Ramsay”™s Food Stars,” his latest show, premiered on Fox last month.
Whatever Ramsay is up to, it appears to happen without input from members of the Writers Guild of America, who have been on strike since May 2.
“Although the strike has been causing some havoc, we are thrilled that we currently have five productions going,” Rejto said.
