Laura Donovan is founder of Sonder Financial ”“ a financial services firm based in Wilton, CT and midtown Manhattan. After 5 years working as a financial advisor, Laura founded her own firm, Sonder, that focuses on educating young professionals and millennials on the importance of planning for financial goals. In doing so, she wanted to create a place where people of all different backgrounds, occupations, financial situations, life experiences, and unique stories all feel welcome. Laura is on the board for her alumnae association ”“ Mount Holyoke College”™s – Fairfield County Chapter. She has been featured on CEO Blog Nation and is an Expert Contributor with Best Company. When she”™s not working as an advisor, Laura is passionate about all things theater. She studied Theater & Russian in college, volunteers with local & regional theaters, and has had the honor of working on a show with Mikhail Baryshnikov. She is currently writing a book that blends her two passions for finance & the arts, which focuses on best practices for theater & entertainment professionals & their money.
