Datto Inc., a Norwalk-headquartered cybersecurity and data backup company, has announced the appointment of two new executive officers.
Sanjay Singh was named chief sales officer. Before joining Datto, he was chief operating officer at Unbxd Inc. Earlier in his career, he worked for 18 years at Akamai Technologies, most recently as senior vice president of global operations
Mark Simon was recruited to become the new managing director of Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with responsibilities for sales strategy and execution in those regions. He was formerly at Toluma, where he held multiple leadership roles including managing director for North America, managing director for the U.K. and global head of products.
“We see promising growth for our partners and we anticipate that our new executive leaders will help shape and deliver on Datto’s vision to meet those market demands,” Datto CEO Tim Weller, CEO said.
