Two founding partners of a law firm with offices in White Plains and Manhattan have been admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States. Lisa Zeiderman and Faith Miller of the firm Miller Zeiderman & Wiederkehr LLP were among a group of 32 attorneys from across the country who will now join others allowed to practice before the highest court in the land.
Miller is a founding member of the American Academy for Certified Financial Litigators. She is also treasurer of the Westchester Chapter of the Justice Brandeis Law Society and was a founding member of the Westchester County Law Guardian Association.
Zeiderman serves on the Legislation Committee of the New York State Bar, Family Law Section, is on the executive board of the Justice Brandeis Law Society and is a member of the New York Women”™s Bar Association.
Twenty-five members of another association, the Women”™s Bar Association of the State of New York were admitted to the Supreme Court in a subsequent ceremony. Among them was Montgomery attorney Kelly Pressler of the law firm Jacobowitz and Gubits LLP. Pressler is vice president of WBASNY.
Seven of the nine Supreme Court Justices presided over that admission ceremony and Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg visited with the attorneys afterward.
