A new independently owned eatery specializing in “fast-fine food” is scheduled to open in downtown Danbury next month.
Pour Me Coffee & Wine Café at 247 Main St. is promoting itself as a provider of the “best-ingredient food and drink to fuel and fortify people to do their good in the world!” The establishment, which will offer a mix including breakfast burritos, paninis, poutines, personal pizzas and salads, will also offer full dinner service.
Matt Rieve, formerly of Figs Wood Fire Bistro in Sandy Hook, was brought in as kitchen manager/chef by owner Andrea Gartner, who is now hiring for waitstaff and kitchen workers. No formal opening date has been announced yet.
