Muse Paintbar, the art studio that combines painting with adult beverages, recently opened its latest county location at Westchester”™s Ridge Hill shopping center in Yonkers.
Seven months after opening a location on Mamaroneck Avenue in White Plains, the paint and wine bar chain opened at Ridge Hill on Nov. 25.
Kathryn Welch, executive vice president of Forest City Ratner Companies, Ridge Hill”™s developer, called Muse Paintbar an “exciting destination,” and added she hoped the company would eventually give back to local causes and partners. Muse Paintbar President Stan Finch and lead artist Vanessa Leigh said they plan on hiring local artists to lead classes at the new location.
“Muse Paintbar is a truly creative experiential addition to the colorful canvas of attractions at Ridge Hill,” Welch said.
Customers can visit musepaintbar.com, choose the Ridge Hill location and select the painting session they’d like to participate in, led by an instructor. Classes average $35 per person, but prices can vary for weekend sessions. Beer, wine and snacks are available for purchase during classes. Muse Paintbar now has 12 locations, including one in Norwalk.
Brooklyn-based Forest City Ratner Companies, a subsidiary of Cleveland-based Forest City Enterprises, Inc., operates 34 properties in the greater New York area.
