Castle Hotel and Spa in Tarrytown, formerly the Castle on the Hudson, has been named one of the best hotels in the U.S. in 2013Â by U.S. News & World Report.
The magazine”™s annual list ranks hotels based on reputation among professional travel experts, guest reviews and hotel class. Nearly 2,000 luxury hotels were reviewed.
Built in 1897 as a private residence, the Tarrytown landmark in January announced the development of a luxury Thann Sanctuary Spa along with a five-month, multimillion-dollar renovation of the hotel”™s 31 guest rooms, 4,100 square feet of meeting and event space, public areas and dining rooms.
