New York City physical, occupational and speech therapy company Motion PT Group has acquired seven practices in the Northeast, including several in Fairfield and Westchester counties. Financial terms were not disclosed.
OrthoConnecticut Physical and Occupational Therapy ”“ with offices in Danbury, Norwalk and Westport ”“ and Hand Therapy Associates, with a location in Bridgeport, are all part of the package, as are Somers Orthopaedics Physical Therapy of Mount Kisco and Rivertown Physical Therapy of Irvington.
Motion PT Group”™s portfolio now consists of more than 100 locations in nine states.
CEO Edward Miersch said the company had long admired the therapists who started the practices.
“We plan to maintain and enhance their high standing in the community by leveraging Motion”™s strong leadership and compassionate approach to quality care,” he said.
