Kimberly Diggs was named the new director at The Early Learning Center at Fieldhome in Cortlandt Manor.

Diggs has a degree in elementary education from SUNY Buffalo State and a master’s degree in teaching English to speakers of other languages from the College of New Rochelle.

Over her 25-year career, the Westchester resident has taught pre-kindergarten, first and second grades, and was the director of early childhood programs at a community center in the Bronx.

Diggs replaces Carol Milillo, who is retiring after serving as director for seven years.

The Early Learning Center at Fieldhome is a year-round child care and preschool program. The center provides a campus-wide intergenerational program for children, the participants of its adult day care center and the residents of The Seabury and Field Home – Holy Comforter.
