Marines Bronze Medal now offered by the US Mint

The U.S. Mint is now offering the U.S. Marines Bronze Medal.

The medal is part of the United States Armed Forces Medals Program, which honors the proud history and unique traditions of each branch of the Armed Forces. As with the silver version of this issue, the designs featured on this medal depicts the Marines in combat on the obverse (heads) while the reverse (tails) depicts the familiar Marine Corps Eagle, Globe, and Anchor emblem encircled by a rope border.

The Armed Forces Bronze Medal is 1.5 inches in diameter and is struck in 95 percent copper and five percent zinc. The bronze medal is sealed in plastic and is priced at $20.
