The Westchester Community Foundation has donated $25,000 to support the Leadership Westchester program run by the organization Volunteer New York! The program Leadership Westchester is a combination of classroom discussions, work in the field and self-study conducted over nine months.

The executive director of Volunteer New York!, Alisa H. Kesten, said the grant “will allow us to recruit new individuals for the class of 2018 from the nonprofit, for-profit and private sectors, as well as continue to connect alumni to board service and ongoing learning opportunities.”

Laura Rossi, executive director of the Westchester Community Foundation, said, “Leadership Westchester is not your usual executive training program. It is an opportunity to become an effective leader by identifying one”™s core values and developing authentic presence.”
