United Hebrew honors three

United Hebrew of New Rochelle on May 10 gave Community Service Awards to Mae Carpenter, commissioner of the Westchester County Department of Senior Programs; New Rochelle attorney John Giacobbe and Steven Zelicoff, an orthopedic surgeon who founded Specialty Orthopedics in Harrison.

Rita Mabli, president and CEO of United Hebrew, said the honorees “”¦through their work in government, law, and medicine, are going above and beyond to enhance the lives of the elderly in Westchester.”
