Protecting your invention
You have what you think is a unique invention. Is it and can you protect it? Mickey Cooper may have the answers during a program sponsored by Fairfield University, 1073 N. Benson Road in Fairfield on Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. in Library Room 101. The event is free and open to the public.
Cooper is a partner in the Southport office of the intellectual property law firm Ryan, Mason & Lewis LLP. He also teaches management of intellectual property at Fairfield”™s School of Engineering. He is the intellectual property adviser for Fairfield StartUp, the annual Fairfield University Business Plan Competition. In addition, Cooper is a member of the Angel Investor Forum, where he deals with startup and early-stage companies in an array of technologies and consumer products.
