People’s United Bank debuts in Port Chester

People”™s United Bank is opening its fifty-fifth  in-store branch in New York at the Port Chester Stop & Shop.
The bank, headquartered in Bridgeport. Conn., will celebrate its grand opening Tuesday at the grocery store at 548 Willett Ave.

People”™s United will offer a full range of banking services in the new branch, which features seven-day banking, a 24-hour ATM and a plasma TV airing financial news networks.
 Jennifer Foster, People”™s United financial services manager, and Nicky Standard, customer service manager, will serve customers in Port Chester.
With the branch opening, People”™s United will donate $1,000 to the Carver Center, which offers programs and resources addressing the educational, recreational, cultural and civic needs of Port Chester residents, with a particular focus on underprivileged youth.
People’s United Bank is a subsidiary of People’s United Financial Inc., a diversified financial services company with $30 billion in assets. The community-based regional bank was founded in 1842.
