New faces at children’s association

The White Plains-based Westchester Children”™s Association has added two staff members. 

Jordana Lorenzo.

Jordana Lorenzo is the organization”™s new program and policy associate. The Florida native now lives in Mamaroneck. She holds a bachelor”™s degree in social work from Florida State University and a master”™s from Fordham University. She had been with Sponsors for Educational Opportunities in New York City, where she provided academic, career, and psychosocial support for college students.

Lauren Woods.

Lauren Woods has joined the staff as part of the Blumenthal Internship program. The program makes paid internships available to students wanting to gain experience at nonprofit agencies. Woods graduated from White Plains High School in 2015 and is studying industrial and labor relations at Cornell University.
