Medical appointment, board chairman at Phelps
Sleepy Hollow resident Robbins Gottlock has been named vice president and associate medical director at Phelps Hospital. In his new position, Gottlock reports to Tobe Banc, Phelp”™s medical director. Gottlock has supervisory responsibility for Phelps Medical Associates (the hospital”™s multispecialty medical group) and other employed physicians, the NYMC Phelps Family Medicine Residency Program, clinical trials and research, education and clinical information technology.
Gottlock is a board-certified family medicine physician who had been with Mount Sinai Beth Israel, leading the hospital”™s 100-physician outpatient multispecialty medical group.
Kenneth Taber of Tarrytown was recently elected chairman of the board of directors at Phelps. He is a partner in the New York City office of the national law firm Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. For more than a decade, he led the firm”™s 200-attorney litigation section. His clients have included former Mayor Michael Bloomberg and the city of New York.
