GROW conference to help business owners branch out

Entrepreneurs and small business owners will learn how to branch out their businesses at the GROW Conference on Friday, April 29, at the Westchester Community College Gateway Center, 75 Grasslands Rd., Valhalla.

The 4th annual conference aims to help small business owners expand their network through a series of workshops that focus on creating business plans, brand promotion and financial planning.

The program will begin with registration and networking from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., followed by breakout sessions and peer discussion groups covering topics including marketing, sales, legal, human resources, finance and social media.

The keynote speaker is Andrew McMurray, co-founder of Zipz Wine & Spirits Packaging and vice president of Zachys Wine and Liquor store in Scarsdale.

The conference will close with a reception from 4 to 5 p.m.

The GROW Conference is hosted by the Westchester Community College”™s Gateway to Entrepreneurship program, a resource center for entrepreneurial development. The Westchester County Office of Economic Development and the Gateway to Entrepreneurship program are sponsoring the conference.
