Actress Edie Falco has become the latest in a long list of actors and filmmakers to visit the Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville. She attended the sold-out screening of her new film “Outside In” on April 15, and after the screening joined the center”™s board President Janet Maslin for a question and answer session.

Falco is a Golden Globe, Emmy and SAG Award-winning actress who first became prominent on television through roles in HBO”™s “The Sopranos,” Showtime”™s “Nurse Jackie,” and most recently, NBC”™s “Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders.” Recent film credits include “Landline,” “Megan Leavey,” and “The Comedian.” 

“Outside In” is the latest from director Lynn Shelton. It tells the story of an ex-con struggling to readjust to life in his small town as he forms an intense bond with his former high school teacher. 

Other recent visitors to the film center include Steven Spielberg, Alec Baldwin, Meryl Streep, Greta Gerwig and Sam Rockwell.
