They”™re getting ready for the third annual Walkway Marathon race series June 10 and 11 centered at the Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park.

More than 2,000 runners of all abilities are expected to take part in four races. The event is coordinated by the nonprofit organization Walkway Over the Hudson, which was formed in 1992 to create the linear park.

New this year is a college-to-college 5K, following a route from the Dutchess Community College campus to the Marist College waterfront. Also new is a business team challenge designed to encourage friendly competition among the region”™s business community.
