I LOVE NY launches webstore

The New York Department of Economic Development recently launched a new online store for I LOVE NY tourism campaign products. ILoveNY.com provides online and mobile access to merchandise including products categorized as The Collection, which contains variations of the classic I LOVE NY logo.

The variations represent recreational activities and attractions, including biking, camping, golfing, fishing, horse racing and equestrian riding, motorcycling, sailing, skiing, theater and wine tasting in New York state. The online store also offers merchandise with the I LOVE NY LGBT logo and limited edition merchandise with the I LOVE NY logo. Each shipment of I LOVE NY merchandise will include statistics and facts highlighting the state’s tourism assets.

“The launch of the I LOVE NY online store expands New York State”™s tourism footprint through merchandise,” said Gavin Landry, executive director of Empire State Development”™s Division of Tourism, in a press release.

Through a licensing agreement with NFL and the Buffalo Bills, The Collection also features T-shirts with the “I Buffalo NY” mark designed with the vintage 1962 Buffalo Bills logo. The idea is to promote tourism in the Buffalo area from the Canalside district to Niagara Falls.

“The Buffalo Bills management asked the league to be a part of the I LOVE NY logo campaign and we thought it was a great way for Buffalo Bills fans to combine their love of the team and their affection for the great state of New York,” said Leo Kane, senior vice president of NFL’s consumer brands, in a written statement.
