The office at 350 Fairfield Ave. will serve as the base of operations for more than a dozen employees. 

Park City Wind will "offer immediate labor opportunities for our work force as they employ men and women in the construction trade at their Barnum Landing location," Mayor Joe Ganim said.

The project is designed to generate 800 MW of electricity.

The project includes an estimated $890 million in direct economic development in Connecticut, including Bridgeport Harbor and the local supply chain.

If the companies' Park City Wind proposal is accepted by the state, it could create up to 350 jobs and almost $400 million in direct revenue in Connecticut over the next decade.
