In addition to MillerKnoll, other newly announced tenants include Connecticut Innovations; private equity firms TSG Consumer Partners and Avesi Partners; and investment firms Jadian Capital and MYCOR Capital.
“We’ve got urban streetscapes, rolling countrysides, the shoreline, beaches, forests – really everything except deserts,” says George Norfleet, executive director of the state’s Office of Film, TV & Digital Media, about its locations.
“We’re just doing our job here, building up a city," says Director of Economic Development Thomas Madden.
The week of Labor Day appears to be when a resumption of full-time, in-office policies will go into effect at many firms.
The restaurant promises an ever-changing seasonal menu featuring produce grown and harvested from The Village’s rooftop garden.
"I like Stamford's proximity to New York City, Greenwich and Westport, where a chunk of our fans are from," says CEO Jay Harman.
“New York City is out of lab space, or it’s too expensive,” says Stamford Director of Economic Development Thomas Madden, “so those companies can migrate into Westchester County or Stamford.”
The 133,000-square-foot facility at 860 Canal St. is being marketed as an indoor-outdoor work-play environment designed to bring together companies representing content and media, brands and marketing, social and experiential, and finance and investment in one central hub.
