Greenwich recorded the highest average fourth quarter sales price for a single-family home at $2.16 million.
The median single-family home sale price was $255,000, a 12-year high for the month of October.
"Single-family home sales have been down every month in 2019 on a year-over-year basis," said Tim Warren, CEO of The Warren Group.

During January, single-family home sales in Connecticut totaled 1,835 transactions, down 310 from the 2,145 units sold in January 2018.
Sales and prices in Connecticut's condominium market were down in November.
October marked the third consecutive month that single-family homes sales in Connecticut have declined year-over-year.
However, single-family residential home sales in Connecticut increased year-over-year, with 36,621 units sold in 2017 compared with 36,025 in 2016.
However, sales of townhouses and condominiums in Connecticut during November increased by 5.3 percent from November 2016.
