Gov. Ned Lamont has announced plans to bond $200 million this year in place of the tolls income – something that Senate Minority Leader Len Fasano likened to his party’s Prioritize Progress plan. Introduced in 2015, that plan involved borrowing $700 million annually.
According to owner and Norwalk resident Greer Fredericks, the move is part of a plan to potentially open a chain of Peaches throughout New York City.
While Gov. Ned Lamont said "I think it's time to take a pause” on the issue, Senate Democrats insist they're still working on bringing the trucks-only toll bill up for a vote.
The new facility will offer structured mental health programs for patients ages 10 through 18 with psychiatric and co-occurring disorders.
Highway passages through Stamford, Norwark, Rye, Elmsford and Nyack are among the nation's most congested roads.
Previously owned by Mizing Paloian Trust, the 0.38-acre property is comprised of two buildings.

As previously reported, the company will retain a Fairfield County presence with a new Stamford office.
"We will constantly be experimenting with new categories, updating the assortment frequently, and responding to customer feedback," Amazon executive Drew Sheriff tells the Business Journal.
President and CEO Rhonda Kiest said the museum has reached 7 million people in the last 20 years.
“Stamford could become the sixth borough of Manhattan" if the promise of improved train service becomes a reality, according to BLT Co-president Ted Ferrarone.
