Vinnie Brand's Stress Factory Comedy Club, the newest addition to downtown Bridgeport’s entertainment scene, has announced that comedian Jim Breuer will be the headliner act for its May 3 opening.

The 7,000-square-foot restaurant is in the former People’s Bank building, part of the McLevy Square development.

"It is a city that fast growing and looked at by others, either in whispers or loud voice, as a place that’s on the move," said Mayor Joe Ganim.

State supports the McLevy Square mixed-use development.
