Covid, China and the new commander-in-chief were the main topics at the third annual Greenwich Economic Forum, held virtually Nov. 9-11.
Topics will include the post-election economy; COVID-19’s worldwide economic impact; opportunities in China; and forecasts for 2021.
“We have to make capitalism work for the average person,” the Bridgewater Associates honcho said. If the wealth gap persists, he added, “We are all going to try to kill each other.”
The event is meant to be “like a mini-Davos or min-Milken conference,” according to James Aiello, co-founder of the Forum and co-chairman of the Greenwich Business Institute.
Tesei said his chief advice to his successor, who will be chosen on Nov. 5, would be: “Most of all, be patient, be inclusive and be thankful.”
