The product is given a back story as the invention of Russ Hanneman, a flashy “Silicon Valley” tech mogul.
The campaign includes a Christmas tree made of cocktail glasses full with Smirnoff No. 21 green apple martini.
Filmmaker Rupert Sanders, director of the acclaimed feature films “Snow White and the Huntsman” and “Ghost in the Shell,” helmed the commercial.
The offerings include a custom cocktail kit using Diageo’s Tequila Don Julio and Ketel One Botanical brands.
The rum brand will highlight the soccer league in its television commercials and social media marketing.
