The WorkPlace, which will relocate from 350 Fairfield Ave. in Bridgeport, was founded in 1983 and coordinates comprehensive workforce development policies and programs that prepare people for careers while strengthening the workforce for employers.
The deals are with TD Bank and the Southwestern Connecticut Agency on Aging.
CBP, part of national insurance and financial services firm Alera Group, provides customized employee benefit plans and HR technology solutions.
Best Friends Pet Care Inc. has agreed to lease 2,368 square feet, while KenCast Inc. agreed to an extension of its lease at the building.
The nonprofit Jewish Family Service will be relocating from 733 Summer St. in Stamford, which will be demolished and rebuilt as residential apartments.
The building offers a full-floor availability of approximately 30,000 square feet, as well as built-to-suit and existing suites as small as 1,600 square feet.
Graphic design company Newbury Rain is relocating from its space at 35 Nutmeg Drive in Trumbull, where it was also the first tenant.
“There are really only a couple of Class A buildings in downtown Bridgeport," said Avison Young's Christopher Grundy. "But there’s a growing number of great features and activities in the area that make it very attractive.”
