Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook gets ready for Derby Day

If you can”™t make it to Churchill Downs next weekend for the Kentucky Derby, the Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook will be hosting a Derby Day celebration on May 6.

Derby Day at the Connecticut casino gets started at 10:00 a.m., with the New York Racing Association”™s Anthony “The Big A” Stabile and Mike “Mut” Mutnansky appearing as guest handicappers. Table reservations for Derby Day will include a Honey Bourbon BBQ Pulled Pork Slider meal with Southwest Coleslaw and a side of Jalapeño Mac & Cheese, plus a commemorative Derby Day T-Shirt, a commemorative glass and entry into drawings for $10,000 in free bets.

Guests who wager $50 on the Derby will receive a free gift, and the winner of a Derby hat contest ”“ inspired by the extravagant hats worn at Churchill Downs for the big race ”“ will receive credits for food and beverage at Sportsbook.

There will be additional horse racing-focused events at Sportsbook during the year, including events tied to the Preakness Stakes on May 20, the Belmont Stakes on June 10, and the Breeders”™ Cup on Nov. 3-4. Guests can book reservations at mohegansun.com/sportsbook.
