Nominees sought for APEX awards

The Westchester County Association is accepting nominations from members for its inaugural Academy for Professional EXcellence (APEX) Awards. The winners will be honored at the business organization”™s Fall Leadership Reception on Nov. 8 at the Hilton Rye Town.

The WCA executive committee will evaluate nominees by the following criteria:

• Demonstration of business leadership in Westchester;
• Outstanding business skills and expertise;
• Innovation and vision; and
• Commitment to the county”™s economic vitality.

Awards will be presented in these categories: Advocacy; Connections (for businesses with fewer than 20 employees); Young Professional and International Business. Nominations must be received by Sept. 4 at The Westchester County Association, 707 Westchester Ave., Suite 213, White Plains, N.Y. 10604.
