Danbury-based Ives Bank and the City of Stamford recently hosted Navigating Small Business Financing, a free panel discussion focused on Small Business Administration (SBA) loans and financing options.
During the forum, which was held June 2 at the Rizz Lounge, members of the small business community heard from experienced lenders and representatives from the SBA who shared their insights on how small businesses can access funding, navigate the SBA loan process, and make informed financial decisions to support growth and success.
“Supporting small business is central to our mission,” said Martin G. Morgado, president and CEO of Ives Bank. “We’re proud to have partnered with the City of Stamford as hosts of the well-attended financing forum and honored to be acknowledged by Westfair Business Journal for our commitment to strengthening the communities we serve.”
Morgado was recently named one of the 2025 C-Suite Award winners by the Westfair Business Journal and Ives Bank was featured as one of the top banks in Fairfield County in the May 28 issue. The list highlights leading banks and financial service providers based in Fairfield and Westchester counties and the surrounding region. Institutions on the list are recognized for their stability, innovative solutions, and commitment to serving their communities.
