Guide lists resources for global marketing
Westchester County is offering help to small and medium-sized business that want to expand into international markets.
The county last week mailed 4,000 copies of the “Guide to Global Business Resources” to local companies. The guide lists several organizations that can help small and medium-sized businesses get a jumpstart when it comes to overseas marketing: the U.S. Department of Commerce Export Assistance Center, the World Trade Council of Westchester, the Westchester County Office of Economic Development and Empire State Development.
An electronic version of the guide and resource links are available at: www.westchestergov.com/globalbusiness. Business owners are also asked to fill out the brief registration form available on the Web site to receive periodic news updates, event invitations and other global business-related information via e-mail. To get a printed copy of the brochure, contact Scott Fernqvist at (914) 995-3078 or sef1@westchestergov.com.
